About Me
Hi everyone,
I am a Thai lawyer. I graduated a high school from Watrajjabopit school and Thammasat University for my Bachelor’s Degree in Laws in 2003. A year later, I passed the Bar exam. Then, I have worked in a law firm for years. Like most new lawyers, my responsibility in the firm was to register a limited company and apply a visa and work permit for foreigners. At first, I thought my job was easy because it was just all about documents. Just two weeks for working, I realized that I must do it carefully. Every document needed to be collected in file safely. Later, I decided to continue my study in U.S.A. for Master’s Degree. Fortunately, I also had a chance to practice law in a famous law firm in Ohio. While I was studying in U.S.A., I went to many states, Florida, New York, Washington D.C. etc., to do some sightseeing. My wonderful time finished because I had to get back to Thailand. With the Master’s Degree in Laws from U.S.A., I got a job easily in Thailand. I have worked in a law firm again as a legal counselor for many months. I realized that working in a firm is not my real job. I need to do my own business, or a job that give me more private time. I resigned from the firm and do my own law business.
As I worked in a firm both in Thai and U.S.A., I got lots of experience and knew what a client needs from a lawyer. A number of law questions came to me, and I need to answer quickly and carefully. One of my clients that I knew well and finally became a good friend has many questions about family law, business law, immigration law, etc. He knew little English, though he has a Thai wife. He needs to read law by himself, but most law books are in Thai language. So, I come up with an idea that a law website may clarify some questions. I really hope that my site would be helpful not only for Thais but also foreigners.
